Crockpot Wassail Recipe
What is it about the holiday season that makes you just want to bundle up with a good book, a hot drink, and sit a minute? Maybe it’s the cold chill in the air? Or the need to take a moment to rest and relax before the hustle and bustle of the weeks ahead? Well I can give you a few ideas for a good read and a few ideas for that hot drink, including this Crockpot Wassail Recipe.

Wassail is traditionally served at Christmas time, but I think it is perfect for any holiday gathering.

Why is it perfect for any party or gathering throughout the year?
Because it is incredibly simple.
Just pour the juices, sugar, and spices into a slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Ta-dah!

When it comes to planning for holiday gatherings; simple, is music to my ears.
Having this ready to go, all hot and steamy, straight from the crockpot, will have you mixing with your guests instead of being responsible for mixing their cocktails.

Just set out some pretty glass cups with orange slices and let your guests serve themselves.
Add a bottle of spiced rum or brandy. In case you need to bump up the level of “merriment” at your holiday party this year.
