Easy Italian Meatball Recipe
Now I thoroughly enjoy sharing some old family recipes on this blog, especially ones that go back to my German roots. But every now and then, I have a small wish that I could take a 23 and Me test and find I have a little Italian heritage. Something that would explain my love for anything pasta or pizza! Until that time comes, I will keep making this Easy Italian Meatball Recipe.

What I love so much about these meatballs is, unlike many similar recipes, there is no need to fry the meatballs.
That step is skipped and instead the formed meatballs are placed directly into a pan of simmering marinara sauce to cook.

Allowing the meatballs to simmer away keeps them soft and tender, but still so flavorful!

The simmering sauce cooks the meatballs and just needs a little shake and shimmy of the pan from time to time to prevent things from sticking.
Because let’s be honest.
Ain’t nobody wanting to clean a pan that had sticking happening.

Then once the meatballs are cooked, dinner is served!
Just spoon some meatballs and sauce over your favorite cooked pasta.
Spaghetti.
Penne.
Rigatoni.
Etc.

I love all shapes and sizes. No discrimination around here.
Because the real star of the show are these delicious Italian meatballs.
Oh! And some shredded Parm.
Can’t forget the cheese, please.
