Easy Party Mix Recipe
Halloween is just a week away and if that wasn’t enough notice, the holidays are just around the corner. Hallmark is starting their “Countdown to Christmas” this Friday! Whoa! Cue up 24/7 Christmas movies now through the New Year. One of my favorite things to make this time of year in anticipation of family, friends, and festivities is this Easy Party Mix Recipe.

Not only is this recipe super easy to mix together.
It is completely customizable.

You can use whatever cracker, chip, or pretzel that fits your fancy.
Swap in Wheat Thins, Cheez-Its, Funyons, Munch-’ems, etc.

Trust your instincts.
Pick and choose your crew’s favorite snacks and then toss them into a big garbage bag or bowl.
Stir ’em around a bit.
Pour in the garlic oil and bake the mix for an hour.

I always try to make this snack mix in October, not only is it perfect for a Halloween party, but any extras of the mix (and there will be extras… this makes a huge batch!) can easily be divided into Ziploc bags and put into the freezer.
In November and December, when company drops by unexpectedly, just pull a bag of this mix from your freezer and pour into a pretty dish to serve your guests.

Trust me, they (or you) will not be able to keep their hands off this delicious snack!
(Please excuse my out-of-focus paw in the pic below. It was hungry.)
