Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
I hope you have been enjoying these simple freezer-friendly recipes this month, as much as I have loved sharing them. To switch things up today, instead of a “Double Dinner” recipe, I’m posting one of my favorite “Double Dessert” recipes, Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

We’ve all been there right?
A craving hits.
A craving for something sweet.
For something chocolatey.

But, alas, nothing in your pantry fits the bill.
That’s why I always try to keep a Ziploc bag full of these perfect cookies in the freezer.

That way they are ready to be baked and ate as soon as the craving hits.
No need to get “hangry” around here when a warm cookie is available!

Softened butter, brown and white sugar, a couple eggs, vanilla, and a few other baking ingredients get stirred together to make the dough of these delicious, cake-like cookies.
Oh and the chocolate chips!
That part is very important!
Some people swear by milk chocolate chips, but I fall more into the semi-sweet chip category.
While we are analyzing the positives of different types of chips, Mini, Semi-sweet chocolate chips are my weapon of choice for cookies.
They spread more evenly through the dough and there is the perfect amount of chocolate in every gooey bite!

Whip up a batch of these cookies, flash freeze the dough, and then bake as many cookies as you want before freezing the rest of the dough for a later time (or more appropriate, a later craving).
Just pop the frozen dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet and in about 10 minutes, you will have perfect, warm, delicious, chocolate chip cookies.
