Honey Asian Baked Cod
Another week of Lenten fish fries are here. As much as I love a slightly grease filled church dinner, you may want something a little lighter, look no further than this Honey Asian Baked Cod.

This recipe has an Asian-flavored spin on one of the most popular recipes on this blog.
My Best Baked Cod recipe.
Instead of making a topping of Parmesan cheese, melted butter, mayo, and seasonings, this cod gets a 5-ingredient marinade.

Simply whisk together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, apple cider vinegar, and a sprinkle of pepper.
Add four to six cod (or other white fish) fillets to the marinade. Stick the fish in the fridge overnight or up to twenty-four hours.
Make sure to flip or rotate the cod fillets about halfway through the marinating time.

The next day, line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
Remove the cod fillets from the Asian marinade and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 7-9 minutes or until the fish flakes easily.

I love to serve these over noodles, ramen, or rice with a side of stir-fry veggies.

With a little bit of prep work, this is a simple and healthy weeknight meal that can be on your table in no time at all!
