Tuna Melt Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Is there anything more comforting than a classic grilled cheese sandwich? Especially when paired with a cup of hot tomato soup? Nope, but everyone knows how to make a grilled cheese. Butter some bread, stick a slice of American cheese in between and brown it in a skillet. Not too difficult. But why not switch it up and combine two great sandwiches (in their own right) into one? A perfect, simple, and easy Tuna Melt Grilled Cheese Sandwich is a great addition to the lunch rotation.
Perfect browned crust surround a cheesy, gooey center of tuna and cheese.
A simple combination of canned tuna, mayonnaise, and onion. Add in shredded cheddar cheese.
And butter that bread man!
Butta makes everything betta.
Serve warm with a side of potato chips and a dill pickle spear.
These sandwiches are sure to become a family favorite for lent just like the Cajun Shrimp Po Boys!

Tuna Melt Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 cans (6 oz) Tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp Onion, finely diced
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 8 slices White Bread
- Butter, softened
Instructions

In a small bowl; combine tuna, mayonnaise, and diced onion. Gently fold in cheddar cheese until combined.

Butter one side of each slice of bread.

Heat skillet over medium heat. To make sandwich; take one slice of bread and place butter side down on skillet. Add 1/4 of the tuna mixture. Spread over slice of bread. Top with second slice of bread with butter side face up. Once bottom of bread has browned (about 2 minutes), flip and brown the second side.

Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve warm with a side of chips and a pickle.

I love it I made this for lunch and my kids loved it but so far my toddler ion think she like it so much but this was my first time making it I add salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder came out so perfect and delicious oh I use sub sandwich bread

Made many. Grilled tuna sandwiches but this.menu for a tuna melt is the creamiest and the Cadillac of all the tuna sandwiches I have ever had
