Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups Choclate Chips I use Mini Semi-Sweet

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar.

  2. Next, add in the vanilla and eggs. Beat until combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Then slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter/sugar mixture and mix just until dough comes together.

  5. Gently stir in desired amount of chocolate chips.

  6. Using a cookie scoop (I used size #40) place dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. Place baking sheet in freezer for at least 3 hours to overnight.

  8. Take the frozen cookie dough and place into a freezer bag(s). Write the following instructions:

    *Pre-heat oven to 375°F

*Place desired amount of cookies on parchment lined baking sheet

*Bake 9-12 minutes (from frozen stage) or until edges of cookies are golden and the center is cooked.

*Let cool 3-5 minutes on the baking sheet before removing to a cooling rack.

Place prepared bag of dough in the freezer for a dessert at a later time.
