Easy Almost Homemade Doughnuts

  • 1 pkg (16.3 oz) Canned Biscuit Dough
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • Oil, for frying


  1. Separate the biscuits and cut out the center using a small biscuit cutter or battle cap.

  2. Heat oil in a Dutch oven or electric skillet over medium-high heat until the temperature reaches 350 degree F.

  3. Working in batches, gently drop doughnuts and doughnut holes into the heated oil. Fry for about 60-90 seconds, before gently flipping and frying for an additional 60 seconds or until the doughnuts are golden brown.

  4. Remove doughnuts from oil and gently toss in the sugar.

  5. Serve warm.
