Caramel Apple Sangria
My friend group and I like to visit vineyards in the area, and while Nebraska and Iowa aren’t always known for their wines, we don’t complain too much. Especially when visiting one of our favorites, Cellar 426, and having their fall specialty, Caramel Apple Sangria.

While this recipe isn’t quite the same, it’s still delicious and perfect for any Halloween party, Thanksgiving dinner, or other fall gatherings.

With just a few simple ingredients and a little chill time, you have a drink option that everyone will love.

To make- stir together in a large pitcher or bowl the apple cider, wine, and caramel-apple flavored vodka.
Now I like to use Pinot Grigio for this recipe, but any of your favorite wine could work.
If you like something sweeter, try a Moscato. If you like even dryer, maybe something like a Sauvignon Blanc.
Pick whatever suits your taste best.

Once you have the wine, vodka, and cider mixed together, add in some diced apples.
Any ‘eating’ apple should work, but my favorite is Honeycrisp. They are long-lasting and delicious.

Let the sangria chill in the fridge. This is best if the flavors have had time to ‘marinate’.
When it’s party time, simply pour into a wine glass, making sure to include some of the finally diced apple pieces.
Bonus points if you add in a little caramel drizzle to the glass for added flavor and pizzazz.
