Cheesy Sausage and Potatoes
This week I am kicking off a new section on My Farmhouse Table for One Pan/Pot Meals. I love this idea for meals, because let’s be honest, next to grocery shopping, what is everyone’s least favorite part of cooking? That’s right. Doing the dishes! That is why this recipe for Cheesy Sausage and Potatoes is such a winner!

The whole meal is made on the stove top in a pan or skillet.
Yep. Like I said above. That means only one pan to clean!
Woo-Hoo!

What makes this meal even easier is the base of the dish is a box of Au Gratin Potato Mix.
Put away the peeler.
Set down the knife, because there is no need to slice a single spud.
Don’t worry about trying to make a cheese sauce from scratch.
It is all right there and ready to go my friend.

Add in slices of sauteed smoked sausage and some frozen stir fry vegetables.
Dinner is ready in no time.

Seriously.
One pan to clean, less than 30 minutes, and dinner is ready to dig into.
A delicious Midwest meal of meat and potatoes (with a veggie for good measure)!
Your family is going to be excited about this one, I promise!
