Christmas Hot Chocolate Bombs
In the wintertime, especially around Christmas, who doesn’t love sitting down with a warm mug of hot cocoa? On this post I’m sharing three varieties of Christmas Hot Chocolate Bombs.

What are Hot Cocoa Bombs?
Hot Cocoa Bombs also known as Hot Chocolate Bombs are little chocolate spheres filled with hot cocoa mix, marshmallows, and any other “fixings”.
As you pour warm milk over the top of the “bomb”, it melts the outer shell and releases the hidden ingredients. Creating the perfect warm cup of Christmas cheer!

Peppermint Hot Chocolate Bombs
Nothing says Christmas more than Peppermint right?
(If you like the combo of peppermint and chocolate, you should try these Pioneer Woman cookies.)

These bombs are filled with store-bought hot cocoa mix, mini marshmallows, and broken pieces of peppermint.
When the warm milk is added, the chocolate and candies combine to make a delicious minty fresh cup of hot cocoa.

S’more Hot Chocolate Bomb
I know s’mores may not make you think of Christmas, but how cute are these?

These bombs are filled with hot cocoa, mini marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs.
Add the milk and make yourself a cup of steaming s’more flavored hot chocolate.

Cookies and Cream Hot Chocolate Bomb
The final hot chocolate bomb is cookies and cream.

What makes these bombs slightly different is, instead of both sphere halves being chocolate, I made one half using Wilson’s Cookies ‘N” Creme Candy Melts.
The addition of crushed Oreos makes it obvious what flavor these hot cocoa bombs are.
