DIY Engagement Gift
The week of Thanksgiving was an exciting time as my best friend, Bree, became engaged! A few days after her big announcement, we had already scheduled a “friend date” to eat pizza, drink wine, and veg out on her couch watching the premiere of “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding” on Netflix. But on top of that we decided it would be a good time to start looking at venues, vendors, and of course dresses! And what better to help with her planning than this DIY Engagement Gift “The Aisle File”.

This gift isn’t anything fancy.
I mostly just walked through the store and picked out items that were both fun and functional for her wedding planning process.
Items to help keep her organized and on task:
Folders
A Notebook
Colorful Pens
And Post It Notes

Items to pamper:
Facemasks
Nail Polish
A “Happy Engagement” card
And a Kleenex packet (as there will be both happy and stressed tears in the coming months).

Of course, I couldn’t forget the wedding planning treats.
A bottle from our favorite brand of wine.
And Dove chocolate.

All the items fit perfectly into a beautiful dark wood magazine file I picked up at Target.
(Target always takes all my money!)

The magazine file held everything perfectly and made an easy and functional engagement gift that will hopefully serve Bree well as she continues to plan her summer wedding at the Schafer Barn where my friend, Jen, was married back in 2017.
Love ya chica! Happy planning!
