Instant Pot Beer Brats and Onions
It has been a while since I shared an Instant Pot recipe on here, so I thought it was time to bring one back to the party. This recipe for Instant Pot Beer Brats and Onions is just what we need this summer.

In the past I’ve posted BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Beef Barley Soup, and Beef Tips with Gravy all made in a pressure cooker.
This has to be one of the easiest Instant Pot recipes I’ve ever made.

Mostly because it is just a few simple ingredients.
Butter, Brats, Onions, and Beer.

Start by turning on your Instant Pot’s sauté function.
Melt the butter then brown the brats in batches.
Remove the brats from the pot and add in sliced onions.
Give it a quick stir then turn off the sauté setting.

Place the Instant Pot rack (what came with your pressure cooker) on the bottom over the top of the onions.
Arrange the brats on top of the rack. Pour your favorite brand of beer over the top.
Set your Instant Pot on its manual setting and cook for only 6 minutes before doing a natural release.

When finished, plop a brat in a bun and top with the desired amount of cooked onions.
Serve with your favorite summer salad or watermelon for a delicious meal.
