Letters to the Bride Scrapbook
Two months ago my best friend, Bree, got herself hitched! It was a beautiful and special day. I only cried a little. (That last sentence is a complete lie… I’m sorry.) Leading up to Bree’s big day, a group of family and friends put together a special gift to her, a Letters to the Bride Scrapbook.

Bree’s mom, Anna, and I had discussed the idea months before. Then early this summer we, along with the help of Josh’s (the groom) mom, Patty, put together a list of family, future family, and friends who we thought would love to share some memories and words of love and encouragement for Bree on her wedding day.

We sent out letters describing for them to write Bree a letter. It could be funny, heartwarming, or all of the above.
Let me tell you. This group did not disappoint.

Once the letters started to come in, it was time to assemble.
I started by just purchasing a few supplies on Amazon.
Stickers, pens, etc.
Oh and this adorable book!

I printed pictures of Bree with family and friends who were contributing.

Found small envelopes that I could stick in the book.

Since the contributors sent the letters in various shapes and sizes, these envelopes were perfect for holding each one.

To complete the page, we (tried) to replicate how each person signed their letter.
I really think it is a special addition.

Letters were submitted by Bree’s family (and future family).

Her bridesmaids and friends.

Of course, a Letters to the Bride Scrapbook would not be complete without a letter from the groom!

We made sure to include plenty of photos and memories to fill the pages.

When complete, the book was wrapped and given to Bree at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.

Later as we sat around, painting nails and getting ready for the next day, Bree sat and read, laughed, and got a little teary-eyed reminiscing about the stories, memories, and hopes all her loved ones wanted to share.
