Monster Cookie Protein Balls

With a new school year starting, I think every parent needs an arsenal of snacks at the ready for when kids get home or for enjoying between activities. This recipe for Monster Cookie Protein Balls are the perfect, healthy option.

Monster Cookie Protein Balls Oatmeal Peanut Butter and Flaxseed Meal Easy Recipe My Farmhouse Table

Start by melting the peanut butter and honey together in a microwave safe bowl.

Stir in the quick oats.

To add some extra health benefits to these, I love to add a couple tablespoons of vanilla protein powder or ground flaxseed meal.

This is completely optional, and the cookies are perfect with or without the addition.

What’s not optional in my opinion…

The addition of a quarter cup of mini M&M candies.

Stir everything together and using a small cookie scoop, form one-inch balls.

Placed formed bites onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and place into the refrigerator for about an hour until set.

Store in an airtight container or a Ziplock bag in the refrigerator.

Enjoy these snacks anytime life gets a little busy.
