Cranberry Jello Salad
Is there anything more nostalgic on a holiday dinner table then jello? Or more specifically, jello ‘salad’? While this side dish does not use one of those fancy molds from Grandma’s era, this Cranberry Jello Salad recipe is still plenty festive and fun for the whole family to enjoy.

This recipe is also a great option for anyone wanting to jazz up a can of traditional cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving.
With the addition of a few simple ingredients, you can go from a can shaped, red blob of gelatin to something a little classier.

Or at least something a little bit more from the 1950’s. (Like all good homemade side dishes.)

To make, start by dissolving the raspberry jello into the boiling water.
Put it into the refrigerator and let cool until soft set.

Add in the cranberry sauce and crushed pineapple.
Stir gently together and return to the fridge to chill until completely set.

This is a wonderful addition to anyone’s Thanksgiving feast.
A little sweet. A little tangy. It’s the perfect accompaniment to the turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, rolls, and pies.
All you have to do is save a little extra room on the plate come turkey day!
