No-Fail Quiche Recipe

Christmas morning breakfast is one of my favorite food events of the year. I love the easy, slow pace of the morning. Who doesn’t like presents, pjs, and yummy food. Over the years I’ve made pancakes, rolls, waffles, and breakfast casserole for Christmas morning breakfast. Time after time, this No-Fail Quiche Recipe finds its way to the top of my favorite list.

This quiche is perfect for holidays and entertaining.

It looks fancy, but it’s extremely easy to make.

What’s even better is you can mix and match the add-in ingredients to the base recipe in order to build your own quiche. Ensuring even the pickiest eaters in your family will love it.

Start by whisking together 3 eggs, salt, pepper, and cream.

Add in herbs and a little paprika.

Then comes the best part.

Add in a cup and a half of your favorite combination of ingredients from the list below.

Meat Options

  • Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • Ham, chopped

Vegetable Options

  • Onions, sliced and sauteed
  • Frozen hashbrowns, thawed
  • Mushrooms, sliced and sauteed
  • Jarred roasted peppers, roughly chopped

These are just a few suggestions, use your imagination and make this quiche your own.

And no quiche would be complete without cheese!

Add in about a cup of your favorite shredded cheese.

I’m usually a cheddar girl, but pepper jack, provolone, swiss, or even gouda would be fabulous.

All that is left to do is press a pie crust (store-bought is fine) into a 9- inch tart pan or pie plate.

Spread your prepared meat and vegetable options with cheese across the bottom of the crust before topping with the egg mixture.

Bake at 375F for 30-40 minutes or until the filling is set and the top begins to brown.

Slice and serve!
