Classic Macaroni Salad Recipe
Is there anything more perfect for summer than a Classic Macaroni Salad Recipe?

Personally I don’t think there is.
Family reunion? Bring the Macaroni Salad.
Backyard grilling? Make the Macaroni Salad.
This list could really go on and on.

Now I have shared plenty of delicious pasta salads in the past.
Including one of the first recipes posted on the blog; Creamy Italian Pasta Salad.
Another favorite of my family’s will always be our Tri Colored Pasta Salad.
But nothing seems to beat this recipe.
It’s simple, easy, and oh so delicious.

First, mix together the dressing.
Some mayonnaise, sugar, yellow mustard, pickle relish (I like to use sweet), some apple cider vinegar, and a dash of celery seed, salt, and paprika.

Then simply add the dressing to the remaining ingredients.
Salad macaroni (or other small pasta shape), hard boiled eggs, diced onion, celery, and sweet pepper.
I learned a trick from The Pioneer Woman and sometimes use roasted red peppers in this salad.
Super delicious!

Just stir it all together and let sit in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
The longer it sits. The better it gets!
This is the perfect side dish for burgers, grilled steak, or the marinated chicken recipe I shared just a few weeks ago.
