Memorial Day Recipes 2.0
Memorial Day traditionally kicks off the summer season. Signaling warmer temps, no school, family vacations, and picnics. Summer recipes for me usually point towards outdoor grilling, easy entertaining, and cold treats. So today I am rounding up a list of delicious food, perfect for Memorial Day Recipes 2.0.

I put together a similar list last year, Memorial Day Recipes Perfect for Grilling Season. Including some of my favorite recipes for baked beans, potato salad, burgers, and sweets!
Main Courses
Dad’s Pork Burgers
This year, I’m kicking things off with one of my family’s favorite grilling recipes. Dad’s Pork Burgers are simple and delicious. Honestly, how can you beat needing only three ingredients for a delicious meal?

Fall Off The Bone Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs
With the help of a slow cooker, having delicious “fall off the bone” bbq ribs is easier than you could ever imagine. The sweet and sticky homemade barbecue sauce coats the meaty ribs (and your fingers). Make sure to remember to bring some wet wipes to the table at dinner time.

Chipotle Chicken
I don’t know how many times I have to tell you, but this Chipotle Chicken is sooooo good! Flavorful, slightly spicy, tender, and just down right delicious. Perfect for tacos and rice bowls.

Side Dishes and Appetizers
Creamy Cucumber and Onion Salad
It’s not yet cucumber season around here, but when it is, this Creamy Cucumber and Onion Salad is usually a constant staple in our fridge.

Cowboy Steak Bruschetta
This is an appetizer that dreams are made of. Slices of perfectly grilled steak layered on top of herb toasted bread, with creamy cheese and fresh tomatoes.
I’ve died and gone to heaven!

Grilled Jalapeno Poppers With Bacon
What makes this recipe for jalapeno poppers so great is that it can be made in advance then reheated when ready to eat. Great for any impromptu guest or party.

Sweet Treats and Drinks
Copycat DQ Ice Cream Cake
This recipe for DQ Ice Cream Cake is one of the most popular recipes on my blog. And for good reason. It’s a cold treat perfect for the hot days of summer ahead.

Super Simple Strawberry Smoothie
Another recipe in the Top 5 most popular list, this strawberry smoothie. A staple of my summer days growing up, this refreshing drink only needs three ingredients and a blender. If it’s only being made for an over 21 crowd, go ahead and add a splash (or two) of your favorite adult beverage.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Special K Bars
Chocolate and Peanut Butter are one of the best combination ever and putting them together for these Special K bars is no exception.
The perfect way to wrap up any Memorial Day, camping trip, or summer party!
