Best Recipes of 2018
It’s that time of year again! We’ve made another trip around the sun, so like last year, I’ve rounded up the best of the best, which include my TOP 5 most viewed recipes of 2018 (some are a shocker!) and a few honorable mentions to round it all out. So without further adieu, here are the Best Recipes of 2018!

Best Recipes of 2018- # 5: Dr Pepper Baked Beans
These baked beans are one of my family’s favorite recipes, so it makes me happy to see it has been so popular on the blog.
Bacon and Dr Pepper…. how can a dish go wrong?
Well it can’t!
These saucy baked beans are a favorite at picnics and potlucks all year long.

Best Recipes of 2018- #4: Copycat DQ Ice Cream Cake
Who doesn’t love ice cream? And who can say no to a perfect copycat recipe of Dairy Queen’s famous Ice Cream Cake?
No one obviously, as this recipe has been searched on Google over 1,000 times in the past year.
It’s a good one, and if I could choose to have one dessert for the rest of my life it would have to be this cake.

Best Recipes of 2018- #3: How To Freeze Sweet Corn
Who knew that one of my most viewed recipes wouldn’t even really be a “recipe” at all?
The How To Freeze Sweet Corn tutorial from this summer has been a big one on the blog.

Best Recipes of 2018- #2: Nebraska’s Homemade Runza
I knew this recipe was a good one, but I had no idea it would be so widely loved across this blog.
These Runza’s are a great meal to make ahead of time and keep a few extra in the freezer. When that age old question of “what’s for dinner” pops up, remember these and all will be right in the world.

Best Recipes of 2018- #1: Easy Breakfast Burrito Casserole
Since I posted this recipe back in April, it has been a top “performer” on the blog. Garnering plenty of attention through Pinterest and Google.
Any sort of breakfast casserole is popular in my house, so this Easy Breakfast Burrito Casserole, does not surprise me that it has found it’s way to the top of the most loved recipe list for 2018.

Best Recipes of 2018- Honorable Mentions
Now we can’t forget some of our honorable mentions.
To kick things off who could forget about The Best Cheese Ball Recipe!

Or a recipe that went somewhat “viral” this month after a Twitter post by Iowa Senator, Joni Ernst that had everyone googling “what is a Hot Beef Sundae?”

And a recent favorite that is appropriately named Christmas “Crack”ers.
