Ingredients: 4 boxes (3.4 to 3.9 oz) Instant Pudding (Vanilla, Chocolate, White Chocolate, and/or Sugar Free); 4 cups Milk; 2-3 containers (8 oz) Cool Whip; 1 pkg (15.35 oz) Oreos, (I use Double Stuffed!)

I love potlucks! You get a buffet line of everyone’s favorite recipes. Ham Balls, of course! Cheesy Hash Brown Potatoes Casserole, was there even a question it wouldn’t be here? And the World’s Greatest Chocolate Chip Cookies. I’ll take one (or three) please! But one of my family’s most consistently requested recipes for family functions, is this Potluck Perfect Oreo Fluff Salad.

Okay. I’ll be honest. I have NO idea why this is called a salad.

There is no leafy greens to be found and the ingredient list falls way closer to the dessert spectrum then “healthy”.

I imagine that is on par with some of my other favorite Midwest “salads”:

Chili Cheese Frito Corn Salad

Cranberry Fluff Salad

Or a classic pasta salad or Ranch Baked Potato Salad!

I don’t know about you, but a bag of lettuce never looks as scrumptious as this right here!

The best part about this side dish, is how incredibly simple it is to make!

Mix together a few packages of instant pudding (I usually choose two Chocolate and two Vanilla) with cold milk. Then fold in a container of Cool Whip and a crushed package of Oreos.

Chill in the fridge until ready to share with all of your family and friends.
